Position Overview:
We believe that the future of home living is all about convenience, comfort, and control. Our cutting-edge technology solutions allow customers to transform their home into a connected, intelligent space that responds to their every need. We are a growing small business seeking a hands-on, solutions-driven IT Specialist to lead our technology operations. Based in Nashville, TN, this position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing IT infrastructure, supporting end users, and implementing systems that scale with business growth.  This is a key leadership role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and taking ownership of all things IT


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the company’s IT operations, infrastructure, and cybersecurity
  • Maintain and support remote and in-office work environments (hardware, software, networks)
  • Manage software licensing, system updates, and cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, etc.)
  • Provide technical support to team members, resolving issues related to computers, connectivity, or systems
  • Manage Apple OS Devices (Ipads and Iphones)
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Evaluate and recommend new technology solutions that improve business efficiency
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement of IT-related equipment and services
  • Ensure reliable data backups and disaster recovery protocols
  • Collaborate with leadership to align technology initiatives with business goals


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership or managerial role
  • Solid knowledge of networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, and endpoint management
  • Experience supporting remote teams and cloud-based infrastructure
  • Proficient in managing Microsoft Windows, Google Work Suite, and common SaaS platforms
  • Strong communication skills with a customer service mindset
  • Must be based in the Nashville, TN area and able to occasionally travel on-site as needed


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a small business or startup environment
  • Familiarity with remote monitoring and management (RMM) tools
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Project management experience for IT implementations or upgrades
