Reports to: VP of Business Development
Position Summary
The Business Development Coordinator keeps our Business Development function running. This role frees the VP of Business Development to focus on what she does best—building vendor relationships, negotiating partnerships, and driving the strategic conversations that grow our company—by taking coordination, communication, and follow-through off her plate.
The work spans vendor relationships, committee support, and the day-to-day communication that keeps a fast-moving function on track. It’s owning meeting agendas and making sure every action item gets completed. It’s drafting correspondence to vendors and members on the VP's behalf. It’s maintaining the outreach trackers that show who owes whom what, and by when. It’s making sure monthly vendor communications go out on schedule, committee follow-up gets done, and nothing gets lost in the shuffle when ten things are happening at once.
The VP of Business Development runs a fast-paced function with many moving pieces and executive-level relationships across the vendor community. This role needs someone who can keep pace, anticipate what’s needed before being asked, and hold the line on details when everything is moving quickly. If you thrive in a high-energy environment, take pride in being the person who makes things run smoothly, and want real exposure to how a growing member organization builds vendor partnerships, this role will fit you well.
