Palm Beach Electronics is looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join our growing team in South Florida.
We work on high-end residential projects where accuracy, organization, and attention to detail matter. We’re looking for someone who understands electrical construction and can confidently take a project from plans and specifications to a complete, accurate estimate.
What You’ll Do
● Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
● Perform detailed material and labor takeoffs
● Prepare accurate estimates, budgets, and proposals
● Obtain and compare vendor and subcontractor pricing
● Identify scope gaps, potential conflicts, and cost-saving opportunities
● Prepare pricing for revisions and change orders
● Coordinate with sales, project management, purchasing, and field teams
● Maintain organized estimating documentation and project records
● Help ensure projects are properly scoped and priced before they move into production
What We’re Looking For
● 3+ years of electrical estimating experience
● Solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, labor, and installation practices
● Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
● Experience performing takeoffs and building estimates from the ground up
● Strong attention to detail and accuracy
● Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
● Comfortable communicating with vendors, contractors, and internal teams
● Dependable, organized, and able to take ownership of your work
Experience with luxury residential construction, lighting and lighting control, generators, low-voltage systems, or smart-home technology is a plus
