In this hybrid role, you’ll be responsible for coordinating field technicians, managing the service calendar, providing remote client support, and ensuring a high-quality service experience from start to finish.
You will act as the central hub of our service department—balancing scheduling needs, remote diagnostics, team coordination, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage the daily service schedule: assign technicians, prioritize calls, and adjust in real-time as needs shift
• Communicate with clients before and after visits to confirm appointments, gather service info, and provide status updates
• Provide basic remote troubleshooting and technical support to resolve client issues when possible without dispatch
• Oversee service workflows from intake to completion, ensuring efficiency, documentation, and client satisfaction
• Monitor technician capacity and assign tasks based on skills, location, and availability
• Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to balance ongoing projects and urgent service needs
• Maintain accurate records in service management software (ServiceTitan, Jobber, Monday, etc.)
• Help define and enforce service policies, cancellation terms, and billing practices
• Identify recurring issues and propose preventative maintenance or system upgrades to clients
• Coach field techs on best practices and ensure quality control across all service work
Qualifications
• 3+ years of experience in service coordination, dispatching, or field service management (AV, IT, HVAC, or trades strongly preferred)
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems: AV, networking, lighting, surveillance, automation (Crestron, Control4, Savant, etc.)
• Confident in providing remote support and walking clients through basic technical steps (resets, power cycling, app updates, etc.)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
• Familiar with field service platforms and cloud-based CRMs
• Able to lead a team while maintaining a client-first mindset
• Calm under pressure, solutions-oriented, and proactive
