Experienced Golf Simulator Installer / Technician
- Install complete golf simulator systems, including:
- Projectors and projector mounts
- Impact screens and screen enclosures
- Launch monitors and simulator sensors
- Hitting mats and turf
- Audio systems and speakers
- TVs, displays, and related AV equipment
- Perform carpentry and finish work, including framing, platforms, enclosures, soffits, trim, and other simulator construction.
- Build and modify simulator rooms to accommodate equipment and customer requirements.
- Install and terminate low-voltage wiring for AV, networking, and control systems.
- Properly align and calibrate projectors and simulator equipment.
- Configure and test golf simulator software and hardware.
- Troubleshoot installation and equipment issues.
- Work from plans, drawings, measurements, and installation specifications.
- Maintain a clean, professional job site and interact professionally with homeowners, builders, designers, and other trades.
- Complete installations to a high standard of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Previous experience installing golf simulator systems is strongly preferred.
- Strong carpentry skills and experience with construction/finish work.
- Comfortable using power tools and hand tools.
- Experience with AV equipment, networking, and low-voltage wiring.
- Ability to accurately measure, level, align, and install equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read plans and follow detailed installation specifications.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Professional appearance and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift and move AV and construction equipment and materials.
