- Ability to understand and read architectural drawings and window schedules
Job Duties
- Collaborate with project teams to complete projects within the preferred time frame to meet project deadlines
- Prepares detailed specifications without supervision
- Researches, evaluates and recommends action on use of new material and methods.
- Assists staff in selecting proper products or technical information as required
- Make phone calls, create and develop sales presentations for prospective customers
- Ability and desire to quickly learn new product lines and processes.
- Ability to help customers make decisions on color, style, texture, and functionality of window coverings.
- Collaborate with Interior Designers, Architects and homeowners on product selection.
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Previous Window Treatment Design Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of Lutron, Creston, or Hunter Douglas product lines
- Previous experience as an Interior Designer
