Job Summary:

As a Sales and Marketing Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting the owner in all sales and marketing activities. This position is designed as a developmental role that will prepare you for advancement into a Sales Consultant position. You will be involved in client interactions, promotional campaigns, and strategic planning to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the owner with developing and implementing sales strategies to meet revenue goals.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives, including digital campaigns, social media management, and content creation.
  • Engage with customers through various channels to understand their needs and recommend suitable audio/video and security solutions.
  • Build a strong understanding of industry trends and local market dynamics to enhance sales tactics and marketing strategies.
  • Support the planning and execution of promotional events and presentations.
  • Handle administrative duties related to sales and marketing, including maintaining customer databases, preparing reports, billing and tracking sales data.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience from initial contact through installation and follow-up.
Qualifications:
  • Candidates will possess strong character, excellent sales skills, and a great attitude! 
  • 1-2 years of experience in sales or marketing, preferably in the audio/video or security industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clients.
  • Proficient in the use of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Enthusiasm for technology and a quick learner of new product offerings.
  • Must be a self-starter with a strong drive to succeed and grow in the organization.
Requirements
4-year degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field. Preferred 1-3 years of experience in outside sales with an emphasis on new account acquisition. Willingness to work hard, demonstrate perseverance, determination, and self-discipline.
Previous experience with technologies, equipment leasing/sales, industrial sales, and/or advertising sales are generally relevant experiences required or preferred for this opportunity.
  • Out-of-pocket expenses (mileage, meals, etc.) will be reimbursed within reason, and other expenses will be approved case-by-case basis.
  • Compensation is based on salary plus commission and/or bonus.
  • Salary and commission commensurate with experience.
  • 401(k), paid time off, and health care plan provided.
  • All other duties as assigned
