Design Engineer
Full Time • Simply Connected
Job Summary
Assist residential and commercial sales staff with creating a complete proposal with product selection and AutoCAD drawings.
Responsibilities
- Work with sales and client to create designs to meet the clients goals
- Draw, update, and maintain commercial and residential designs
- Manage multiple complex projects at the same time
- Follow projects through to completion.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or relevant experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, and Visio
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- EASE proficiency or in industry standard simulation and modeling software
- Minimum 5 years AV industry experience
- Strong commercial and residential AV design experience required
- Strong commercial and residential network design required
- Lighting design a plus
- Crestron and Control4 experience required
- BSS, QSC, and Biamp experience a plus
- Positive attitude and teamwork required
