Since 2002, Five Smooth Stones Audio Video & More has been the premier custom audio-video, home entertainment, security, and smart home technology provider to new and existing residential and light commercial projects in northeast & central Florida. Our experts have successfully completed over 5,000 installations both large and small. From a simple wall-mount TV installation to a fully automated control or entertainment system, we have the expertise to make our customers' technology vision and dream a reality. Our in-house services include sales, design, project management, installation, programming, customer training, and support.

Job Summary
Works with other installers and independently, in the completion of installations and service calls.
Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork as assigned.
Tech is also responsible for assigned vehicle care and maintenance.
- Requires excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply “best practices” theory
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to use hand and power tools
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to safely use & work from ladders up to 8'
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Complete home audio/video, security & home control system installs and setup
- Satellite/Cable systems setup and install
- Install & configure home networks & WiFi systems
- Advanced troubleshooting of simple systems
- Basic networking/data system installation and setup
- Basic programming of single-room, advanced systems
- Basic understanding of multi-room systems and setup
- Basic understanding of security system programming and design
- Installation, In-home activation, & orientation of customer systems
- Basic understanding of Five Smooth Stones Audio - Video - Smart Home single room systems
- CEDIA ESTII or better certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
- Completion of Alarm.com Tech I Academy certification (or obtain within 6 months of hire)
Minimum Job Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly detailed, organized, and multitask driven
- Ability to work on rotating “on-call” service schedule
- Proficient in all Assistant level qualifications
- Competent skills with desktop and mobile computing
- Clean driving record and background check (required for certification)
- Minimum of 1-year field experience
- Proficiency in Alarm.com systems very helpful, not required
