- Ability to plan and delegate daily tasks to the associate technicians on your team
- Keeping an organized work environment, and managing multiple tasks at the same time
- Strong knowledge of common building practices and principles
- Strong ability to use hand and power tools
- Close out and quality control large-scale complex control system projects
- Install, configure, and program networks, control, surveillance, and lighting sub systems
- Mounting TVs
- Installing architectural speakers
- Installing surveillance cameras
- Installation and dressing of wiring enclosures
- Trim, termination, and labeling of low voltage cabling
- Building and dressing equipment racks
- Occasional pulling and fishing of wire
- Install and tune Hi-Fi components used for dedicated 2-channel listening areas
- Deliver a positive customer experience
- Advanced troubleshooting of installed systems
- The management of van stock and tools as well as van maintenance and appearance
- Efficient communication with the project manager to ensure timeline and expectations
- Excellent customer service, including the ability to work with high profile and high demand customers
- Ability to safely transport high value equipment to job site
- Review of work order, product list and scope of work prior to deploying to ensure we are properly outfitted for the day
- Demonstrate system capabilities to customers and make on site programming changes
- Daily updates to project documentation and work orders in job management software
- Daily job site cleanliness and adherence to builder site requirements
- Accurate time clock entries and job costing
- Make decisions and be held accountable to Time and Materials
- Ability to take part in on-call rotation
- Must be able to lift and carry 60lbs
- May require standing or stooping for extended periods
- Ability to work in tight spaces & at ladder height
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record
