- Bring Visions to Life: Install and configure a diverse range of smart technologies, including control systems, whole-house audio, smart lighting, private theaters, shade control, access control, security, surveillance, networks, VoIP/telephone, 1 and equipment racks.
- Collaborate and Educate: Work directly with clients in both residential and commercial settings, providing professional service and clear communication.
- Proven ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and consistently meet strict client deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
- A collaborative spirit with the ability to excel in team environments and communicate clearly and professionally.
- Flexibility and willingness to work overtime when project demands require.
- A commitment to traveling to on-site job locations and potentially for manufacturer training opportunities.
- Physical capability to lift up to 75 lbs and a strong work ethic to see projects through to completion.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in every aspect of your work.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling you to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
- 2-3+ years of hands-on experience with leading smart home systems like Control4, URC, and Lutron, along with Control4 and PCNA certifications.
- 2-3+ years of experience in the A/V, alarm, or electrical industry.
- Direct installation experience and knowledge of control systems, whole-house audio equipment, alarm systems, and networking principles.
- The ability to interpret floorplans and various technical schematics with confidence.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting audio, video, and control system problems effectively.
- A solid understanding of signal flow and professional audio components.
- Strong PC and networking experience, including configuration and troubleshooting.
- Experience working with high-tech residential systems and smart home technology.
- Prior project management and/or leadership experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
