Field A/V Home Automation/Integration Technician

ABOUT THE JOB
ForceAV is a unique Audio/Video and Home Automation/Integration company seeking talented, experienced, motivated installers to compliment a strong field installation team dedicated to excellent quality of work. The office is located in West Palm Beach, Florida.
The ideal person for this position possesses the qualifications below, preferably has been, or is troubleshooting, installing and programming Residential AV gear and racks, and has strong, related experience to bring to the table.
The successful candidate must be able to work independently, take initiative and solve problems efficiently, demonstrate above average written, verbal and telephone skills in dealing with team members, Builders, and customers.
Please note this is NOT an IT position, nor graphic designer, it's a field technician experienced on residential audio and video installations and configuring networks.
Applicants NEED to have the following skills, qualities, and attributes:
- System Troubleshooting and Diagnostics Skills
- Audio/Video and Home Theater installations
- Computer Experience
- Distributed Audio
- Camera Systems
- Able to terminate Cat 5/6 cables
- Reliable and Hard Working
- Capable of effectively communicating with staff and customers.
- Must have a clean Florida drivers licenses.
- Must have a clean criminal background.
- Drug Free Workplace
- Must have reliable transportation
- Physical requirements include standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, working on tight spaces and lifting up to 80lbs
- Work off of a ladder
